Dayforce import

Get the weekly schedule file

Export one weekly Printed Schedule Report - Legacy from Dayforce using Excel 2007 (.xlsx), then import that file here. The same file supplies the weekly schedule, alternate-store shift times, meal/breaks, seniority, roster names, and Sales Plan.

Match these settings, then export the report as Excel 2007 (.xlsx).
  1. Open Reports in DayforceGo to Fixed Format Reports and select Printed Schedule Report - Legacy.
  2. Select the full weekUse a Sunday–Saturday date range for the week you want to import.
  3. Use the settings shown aboveTurn on Display shift start/end times for non-primary jobs, Display Meals and Breaks, and Show Seniority Date. Leave Omit Unscheduled Employees off, then select Sales - Adj. Forecast under KPI.
  4. Choose Excel 2007Under Format, select Excel 2007. The downloaded file must be an .xlsx file. Do not use PDF or an older Excel format for this import.
  5. Download and importReturn here and choose Import Dayforce Week. On a new store, you will be asked once to assign each associate a position.
What gets importedName, Shift, alternate-store location and shift times, Meal/Break times, seniority, and Sales - Adj. Forecast are imported. Sales - Adj. Forecast appears as Sales Plan in the weekly schedule. Your saved roster supplies each associate’s position title on future imports.
